Cliza Municipality

The municipality Cliza is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location in near space

The municipality Cliza is one of three Municipalities of the province of Germán Jordán. It is bordered to the west by the province of Esteban Arce, on the south by the municipality of Toko, in the east and north- east by the province Punata, and in the north and northwest by the municipality of Tolata.

The central location of the municipality is Cliza with 6,534 inhabitants ( 2001 census ) in the central part of the district.

Geography

The municipality Cliza located on the plateau of Cochabamba in the transition zone between the Andes mountain range, the Cordillera Central and the Bolivian lowlands.
