Toco Municipality

The municipality Toko (also: " Toco " ) is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

The municipality Toko is one of three Municipalities of the province of Germán Jordán. It is bordered to the west and south by the province of Esteban Arce, on the east by the province Punata, and to the north by the municipality of Cliza.

The central location of the municipality is the place Toko with 827 inhabitants in the northern part of the municipality. (2001)

Geography

The municipality Toko is in the transition zone between the Andes mountain range, the Cordillera Central and the Bolivian lowlands.
