Toco, Cochabamba

Toco (also: Toko ) is a town in the Cochabamba Department in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Toco is a central place of the municipality in the province of Germán Jordán Toko and is located on the 490 km ² large fertile plateau of the Valle Alto. The village lies at an altitude of 2740 m on the right bank of the Río Cliza, about 20 kilometers from the edge of the Cordillera Oriental, which in the north-east of Toco Plaza de San Benito rises to over 4,100 m.

Geography

Cliza is located in the transition zone between the Andes mountain range, the Cordillera Central and the Bolivian lowlands.
