Clubs (suit)
Cross or fail is a color of French playing cards. In the German pages, it corresponds to the color of the glans. The original French name is Trèfle ( German: Clover ), the card symbol is a three-leafed clover dar. In English cross as clubs will ( German: bars, clubs ) designated according to the color Bastoni of the Italian- Spanish image.
In Germany, these playing cards color, especially of the International Skat- order, referred to as Cross, in Austria, however, almost exclusively based on the French name as a meeting, as well as the Bridge, where generally predominate the French names, as well as Cœur instead of heart.
When Skat and double inverted cross is the highest- color ( Schell / Karo is in double head the trump suit ), the Bridge Club is the lowest.
