Codex Laudianus

Codex Laudianus ( Gregory -Aland no Ea or 08), is a Greek- Latin manuscript of Acts, which is dated to the 6th century.

Description

The manuscript contains a gap (Ap 26.29 to 28.26 ). The text is in two columns of 24 lines.

The Greek text of Codex Laudianus represents the eclectic, usually Byzantine text, much of it is Western text-type and some Alexandrian text-type. The text of the Codex is assigned to Category II.

The Codex Laudianus from the possession of Archbishop William Laud described consists of 227 parchment leaves. The left side is each Greek, the Latin right (27 x 22 cm). The Codex is preserved in the Bodleian Library in Oxford (Cat. no. Laud. Gr. 35 1397, I, 8).
