Colmeal is a comune ( Freguesia ) at the Portuguese circuit ( concelho ) of Gois. 158 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011) in her.
History
1560 place an independent municipality was charged.
Culture and sights
The parish church ( Igreja Paroquial do Colmeal, also Igreja de São Sebastião ) was originally built in the 15th century as a chapel. With elevation of the site to the municipality in 1560 the chapel to the church was extended. Probably in the 19th century it received its bell tower, with 1836 and 1858 cast bells from Cantanhede. It is a listed building.
