Colombiers-sur-Seulles

Colombiers -sur -Seulles is a commune with 174 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Calvados in the Basse -Normandie.

Geography

The community is located 13 kilometers north-east of Bayeux and two kilometers from the Valley of the Creully Seulles.

History

During archaeological investigations several tumuli of the late 5th millennium BC have been found. The tumulus of Colombiers -sur -Seulles is the oldest stone building in Normandy; he is now in the ownership of the General Council of the department.

Between 1962 and 1999, the population has increased by 23.1%.
