Congo Bongo

Congo Bongo (Japanese: Tip Top ) is an arcade game that was released in 1983 by the company Sega. The game is rated as Sega's answer to the highly successful game Donkey Kong, which was published two years earlier. The player assumes the role of a safari hunter who wants to catch the gorilla Bongo.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Congo Bongo leaned on to the other popular games of the time, especially on the arcade games Frogger and Donkey Kong. In contrast to these games Congo Bongo but uses an isometric view.

Congo Bongo has been ported to many different home computer platforms, including ColecoVision, Intellivision, Commodore 64, Apple II, Atari 5200, TI-99/4A, VIC-20, Atari 2600, MSX.
