Corneille of Burgundy
Cornelius of Burgundy, also Corneille de Bourgogne and Cornelis van Beveren called (* 1420, † May 16 1452 in the Battle of Bazel at Rupelmonde ) was an illegitimate son of Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy, and Catherine Schaers. He bore the title " Grand Bâtard de Bourgogne " and was Lord of Beveren and Vlissingen as well as Governor and Captain-General of the Duchy of Luxembourg.

Cornelius of Burgundy fell in the " Battle of Bazel " at Rupelmonde and was buried in the Cathedral of Brussels. His successor in title and possession was his younger half-brother Anton.
