Cosmin Moți

Cosmin Iosif Moţi ( born December 3, 1984 in Resita, Caras -Severin county ) is a Romanian football player. Since the summer of 2012, the defender is the Bulgarian first division Ludogorez Razgrad under contract.

Career

Association

As a child Moţi began playing football in his home town of Resita. There he received his first professional contract with CSM Resita. However, he did not stay long at CSM and soon moves to FC Universitatea Craiova. First, even as a reserve player, he developed gradually to regular players of Craiova. Then was the next change to the Romanian capital club Dinamo Bucharest in the summer of 2005. Under coach Ioan Andone to Moţi was able to play in the starting lineup and became performers in the team. In 2007 he took his first national title and won the championship. In the summer of 2008, he ventured abroad and he signed a contract at AC Siena in the Italian Serie A. National

In February 2008 Moţi made ​​his debut in the jersey of the Romanian national team. In the friendly against Israel, he came on in the 90th minute. Although only played one match until the summer of 2008, he was nominated by coach Victor Piţurcă in the squad of the Romanians for the European Championships in Austria and Switzerland. In preparation for this event, he played his second international game when he came on as a substitute in the 4-0 win against Montenegro at half- time.

In September 2011 Moţi returned after four years in the national team after Piţurcă there had taken over the helm again. In the European Championship qualifier against Belarus, he stood on 7 October 2011 in the starting lineup and played his last international match.
