Cosmo 's Factory is the fifth album by the American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival in less than two years and appeared in July 1970 at the record label Fantasy Records.
The name of the album comes from a warehouse in Berkeley where the band rehearsed. Because Bandleader John Fogerty great value put on it, almost every day to work there, Doug " Cosmo" Clifford began to speak, the drummer of the band, from that place as from "the factory" ( " factory ").
The album was a huge commercial success. It reached # 1 on the Billboard pop album charts, and there were six singles that were represented in the top 5. In addition, it even reached number 11 on the Billboard Black Albums charts, which is extremely rare for a "white " music group.
