Cove, Argyll

Cove is a small town in a sparsely populated region of the Scottish Unitary Authority Argyll and Bute. It is located about seven kilometers north- west of Greenock and west of Helensburgh on the Rosneath Peninsula. The village stretches along the coast of the sea arm Loch Long and is partly due to the addition Bay Cove Bay. Together with the southeast, Kilcreggan lived 1961 876 persons in Cove. By 2001, this number had increased to 1414.

Cove is connected by the B833 which runs largely along the coast of Rosneath to the road network. In the village are located with the villa Knockderry Castle and Villa Craig Ailey two monuments of the highest Scottish monument category A.
