Crazy Lixx

Crazy Lixx is a Swedish sleaze metal band and was founded in 2002 in Malmö. The band's name was was the lead singer and founder Danny Rexon by a Japanese toy guitar as a child, inspired.

History

Foundation

After singer Danny Rexon played in bands such as Vanity Dies Hard as bassist and Vanity as a guitarist, he and Vic Zino and Joél Cirera the heavy metal band Blindead. After Danny Rexon to decided to make more rock -oriented music, he formed with Vic Zino and Joél Cirera together the band Crazy Lixx; at that time with Danny Rexon on guitar. 2003 Max joined Flamer added as bassist and the same year a demo was recorded, with Danny Rexon first time on vocals. The demo contained the three tracks bath in a Good Way, Death Row and Love on the Run. After the first concerts came in 2004 added Krizzy Field to take on the rhythm guitar. With this lineup the demo Do or was the added and more concerts followed by Sweden. Due to internal problems tied up at the end of 2004 Max Flamer and Krizzy Field. In summer 2005, then took over Luke Rivano the electric bass, the post of rhythm guitarist but did not come. After a concert in 2006 as support for ex - Guns N ' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke Crazy Lixx got a recording contract with Swedmetal Records. January 2007 published Crazy Lixx then their third demo Heroes are Forever and began to work on their first studio album.

Loud Minority

In July 2007, Crazy Lixx started recording on their debut album Loud Minority. It was recorded at Polar Studios in Stockholm and produced by Chris Lanley who has also worked for Candelmass, Europe, Crashdiet and others. After a brief tour of England and a concert on the Sweden Rock Festival in November 2007, they brought out Loud Minority. The album was equally well received by fans and critics and reached number two on the Swedish hard rock charts. Beginning of 2008, went on tour with Crazy Lixx Hardcore Superstar.

Today

At the end of the tour with Hardcore Superstar Vic Zino decided to leave Crazy Lixx and switch to Hardcore Superstar. New guitarist was Andy Dawson. After Crazy Lixx had separated from Swedmetal Records, they began again in 2009 on tours. This time they were headlining on the rest in sleaze festival and played a short tour of Italy and a concert in Ludwigsburg, Germany. In mid-2009 they started to record their new album New Religion, which was released on Frontier Records on 19 March in Europe and on April 6 in the U.S.. Also this album was recorded positive from critics and fans., 2011, drummer Joél Cirera his exit known as reasons he claimed to be able to spend more time with his family. With the release of the third album Riot Avenue bassist Luke Rivano left the band due to musical differences. Both were for the last time on March 9, 2012 on in Lichtenfels with Crazy Lixx. On 18 June 2012, the new cast was presented on the website. On drums co-founder Joél Cicera returned on bass and Jens Sjöholm was recovered.
