Cristian Todea

Todea Cristian ( born October 18, 1978 in Arad ) is a Romanian football player. The midfielder is in January 2009 by Gaz Metan Medias in Liga 1 under contract.

Career

The career of Todea began in 1997 in his hometown when he came into the first team of UTA Arad, in his time in the second Romanian league, the Divizia B, played. There he became an instant for stem force in midfield. The 2001/02 season he was able to conclude with his club first of Season II and ascend into the Divizia A. He then moved to AC Mantova in the Italian Serie C2. In 2004, he first rose to Mantova in Serie C1 and a year later to Serie B on. In 2005 he left Italy to the Swiss Challenge League club AC Bellinzona.

At the beginning of 2007 Todea returned to UTA Arad back in the Romanian Liga 1. After relegation in 2008 he remained the club first in the League II are but switched at the beginning of 2009 to Gaz Metan Medias first division. With his new club, he was able to complete the 2010/11 season in seventh place and thus achieved the qualification for the Europa League. After victories against Kuopio PS and the first FSV Mainz 05, he retired from there in the play-off round against Austria Wien.
