Cristina del Valle

Cristina del Valle ( born August 1, 1962 in Oviedo) is a Spanish singer and activist from Asturias.

In 1980 she went to Madrid to study criminology. She was in non-governmental organizations ( Ayora, Solidarios, APRAM, etc. ) and political parties operate, where they campaigned for human rights and against domestic violence or supported the autonomy of Western Sahara.

Career

Her career started as a singer Cristina del Valle in the late eighties with the band Vodebil, but their first release was published under the pen name Cris. In 1991 she founded with Alberto Comesaña a rock-pop duo called Amistades Peligrosas that in Spain and Latin America gained great popularity after the chart success Estoy Por Ti and Me Haces Tanto Bien. After the dissolution of Amistades Peligrosas they collaborated with the Spanish musician José Angel Hevia. Their album El Dios De Las Cosas Pequeñas 1999 led to a further hit single Tormento. The album Apuntes Generales Del Mundo followed 2001. 2003 they renewed the collaboration with Alberto Comesaña.
