Features

The edges head rattlesnake is a relatively small rattlesnake with an average body length of about 50 centimeters, which can also be 60 inches long in rare cases. The name derives from a sharp edge along the sides of the head from the eyes to the snout, which is due to the raised scales of head region. Distribution and habitat

The habitat of the snake is dominated by pine-oak forests at an altitude 1600-2750 meters. They prefer grassy glades and moist microhabitats in the canyons.
