Crystal Waters ( born October 10, 1964 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American singer - House.

Biography

Crystal Waters is the daughter of jazz musician Junior Waters and a niece of actress and singer Ethel Waters. She studied computer science at Howard University in Washington, DC and worked after graduation, first as a programmer. In addition to the profession she worked as a session singer, wrote songs and recorded a demo tape with the song composed by her Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless ), which they brought to the people. After a while, reported three DJs who worked under the name Basement Boys, with her and supported her.

Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless ) was established in 1991 a great success and reached the world top ten rankings. In Switzerland, there was a number -one hit in Germany and the UK, it reached # 2 in Austria 3rd place in the U.S., the single was gold.
