Cynthia Gibb

Cynthia Gibb ( born December 14, 1963 in Bennington, Vermont ) is an American actress.

Life

Gibb took as a child dance classes and was engaged by the New York agency of Eileen Ford as a model at the age of 14 years. The following year, her photo among other things on the front page of Vogue magazine was published.

Gibb debuted as an actress in the comedy film Stardust Memories of 1980 in 1983 to 1987 she played in the television series Fame. - The road to fame and was nominated for her role in 1984 for the Young Artist Award. In the film drama Salvador ( 1986) by Oliver Stone, she starred opposite James Woods. In the horror film The Ripper (1988 ), she took over next to James Spader one of the main roles. In the biopic Gypsy ( 1993) Gibb was seen on the side of Bette Midler in a larger role. For this, she was nominated in 1994 for a Golden Globe Award.

Gibb is married to film producer Scott Kramer and has three children. She lives in Los Angeles.
