Cyril John Vogel

Cyril John Bird ( born January 15, 1905 in Pittsburgh, USA; † 4 October 1979) was Bishop of Salina.

Life

Cyril John Vogel received on 7 June 1931, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On April 14, 1965 Pope Paul VI appointed him. Bishop of Salina. The Bishop of Greensburg, William Graham Connare, donated to him on June 17 of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Harrisburg, George Leo Leech, and the auxiliary bishop in Pittsburgh, Vincent Martin Leonard.
