Dąbrówka, Gliwice County

Dąbrówka ( German Dombrowka ) is an Upper Silesian village in Gmina Wielowieś in Silesia in Poland.

From 1936 to 1945 Dąbrówka bore the official name of Stone Oak.

Dąbrówka has 534 inhabitants. To Dąbrówka heard the hamlet Ubowice. Neighboring towns of Dąbrówka are Świbie ( Schwieben ) Sarnów ( Sarnau ) and Centawa ( Centawa ).

History

Today's Dąbrówka was first mentioned in 1277. In 1945 Dombrowka under Polish administration. Between 1990 and 1992 the new church was built. From 1975 to 1998 Dąbrówka lay in the newly designed Katowice Voivodeship. In 1999, Dąbrówka the new Silesian Voivodeship and in the revived powiat Gliwice.
