Dadzewo

Dadzewo ( German Datzow ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It belongs to the urban and rural community Polanów ( Pollnow ) in the powiat Koszaliński ( Koszalin ).

Geographical location

Dadzewo located 6 kilometers west of Polanów, 26 km south-east of Koszalin, south of the province road 206 Koszalin ( Koszalin ) Polanów - Miastko ( Rummelsburg ( Pomerania ) ) and is a branch between Nadbór ( Nadebahr ) and Jacinki ( Jatzingen ) reachable. By 1945 Nadebahr was the railway station on the narrow-gauge railway track Koszalin - Pollnow of Koszalin - Belgarder tracks.

History

The old knight Datzow belonged to Pollnower fiefs the family of Glasenapp. 1770 came the estate to the Major Bogislaw Lorenz von Lettow, and in 1879 it bought - along with Natzlaff ( Nacław ) - Carl Freiherr von Senden, who then undertook basic renovations, the court goal for and built the manor house. Last owner on Datzow before 1945 was Max Freiherr von Senden.

For the Good Vorwerk Karl Otto was one (now defunct ), it had 858 hectares, of which 603 ha of arable land and 202 ha of forest.

Datzow was until 1945 a part of the community Jatzingen ( Jacinki ) and thus belonged to the Official Wendish Buckow ( 1938-45: Buckow ( Pom. ), Polish: Bukowo ), registry office Pollnow Land and District Court District Pollnow district Schlawe i Pom. in the district of the Prussian province of Pomerania Pomerania. Since 1945 Dadzewo belongs to the municipality Polanów in powiat Koszaliński the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Church

Datzow belonged until 1945 mostly evangelical residents to the parish church in Pollnow Schlawe the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union. In today almost exclusively Catholic residents Dadzewo is the Dean Polanów assigned to the parish in the Diocese of Koszalin - Kolobrzeg Polanów of the Catholic Church in Poland.
