Jacinki

Jacinki ( German Jatzingen ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the urban and rural community Polanów ( Pollnow ) in Koszaliński powiat ( county Koszalin / Koszalin ).

Geographical location

Jacinki is conveniently located on the province road 206 Koszalin, Polanów and Miastko ( Rummelsburg ( Pomerania ) ) together. In the village the road meets transport of Bóbrowiczki ( New Bewersdorf ) and Lejkowo ( Leikow ) to the voivodeship. At the northern entrance to the village was until 1945 the station, where the narrow gauge railway lines Koszalin - Pollnow of Koszalin - Belgarder paths or Schlawe - Pollnow converged Schlawer the tracks.

Neighboring communities of Jacinki are: Garbno ( Gerbin ) and Nacław ( Natzlaff ) to the west, the north and Swierczyna Polanów the east and south.

Place name

The village's name is probably derived from the Slavic name Jaczo.

History

Jatzingen, in the 1945 the villages of Karl Otto and Hunter's house (now defunct ) and the old knight Datzow (now Polish: Dadzewo ) were integrated part of the country Pollnow than this in 1472 by Duke Erich II of Pommern on Erblandvogt Peter Glasenapp to Koprieben ( at Bärwalde, Neustettin, today polish: Koprzywno ) was awarded.

Jatzingen was a farming village that had 13 farmers and one Kossäten until the 18th century. 1784 are called 2 Kossäten, 1 blacksmith, 1 school master and one forester. The population was 1818 at 185 and rose to 1939, totaling 548

After the death of the country and Hofgerichtsrates Franz von Glasenapp 1771 gets all his property in bankruptcy. The fief was in 1773 the Supreme Friedrich Ernst von Wrangel awarded. 1804 is still in the possession of Jatzingen son August Friedrich Ludwig von Wrangel. By the Stone - Hardenberg reforms Jatzingen was an independent farming village.

Until 1945 the church belonged to the Official Jatzingen Wendish Buckow (1938-1945: Buckow ( Pom. ), Polish: Bukowo ) to the registry office Pollnow country, and District Court District Pollnow district Schlawe i Pom. in the district of the Prussian province of Pomerania Pomerania.

On the night of February 27, 1945 Soviet artillery bombarded by Pollnow from the village. The inhabitants fled in direction Schlawe, but the trek on March 8, was overrun by Soviet troops, and the inhabitants returned to the heavily devastated village. A large group of them was deported to accompany the livestock export to Russia, other people died due to harassment and attacks as well as to disease and malnutrition. In mid-June 1946, the last Jatzinger were expelled after their farms were taken over by Polish families. Was Jatzingen Jacinki as a part of the community Polanów in powiat Koszaliński the West Pomeranian Voivodeship ( to 1998 Koszalin voivodship ).

Church

Jatzingen was inhabited until 1945 by a majority of the Protestant denomination belonging population. The village belonged to the parish church in Pollnow Schlawe the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union.

Today, the inhabitants of Jacinki almost exclusively Catholic denomination. Jacinki belongs to the parish ( Parafia ) Polanów the deanery in the Diocese of Koszalin - Kolobrzeg Polanów of the Catholic Church in Poland. The Protestant residents are cared for by the parish in the Diocese of Koszalin - Pomerania Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.

School

Already in 1784 a schoolmaster named in Jatzingen. The elementary school was built later was in the south of the village. Last German teacher before 1945 were Emil Reblinski and Heinz Urba.
