Daet, Camarines Norte

Daet is a Philippine municipality in the province of Camarines Norte whose capital it is.

Daet is the seat of the Diocese of Daet.

The municipality is a popular spot for surfing, especially the wide beach Bagasbas with surfers from all over the world. Furthermore, the archipelago of Calaguas is part of the borough. Parts of the Bicol Natural Park are within the municipality.

Tourism

Because of the attention that Daet has received from the international community surfer, the place was collected by the Ministry of Tourism to internationally accredited web -site. In addition, the Calaguas group of islands in the north of the municipality receives attention of tourists from the area, as well as by foreign tourists. The island group can be considered as "virgin " because there are no resorts were still being built.
