Dallas Tamaira

Dallas Tamaira or better known as Joe Dukie is the lead singer of the New Zealand group Fat Freddy 's Drop. His pseudonym refers to the name of his father, Joe, also a singer, and his grandfather, a musician named Dukie, named after Duke Ellington.

Dallas ' style is largely influenced by Bill Withers. Tamaira was nominated for best singer at the b -Net NZ Music Awards 2005.
