Daniel Doré

Daniel Doré ( born April 9, 1970 in Ferme- Neuve, Quebec ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who played during his active career, among others, for the Quebec Nordiques in the National Hockey League. He also played as a professional inline hockey player in the North American Roller Hockey International.

Career

Doré began his professional career at a young age at the L' Outaouais Frontaliers in QAAA, for which he was on the ice from 1985 to 1986. Then he came to the Drummondville Voltigeurs in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. There he was able to establish itself as a regular force, scoring in his debut season over 60 points scorer. In the following two seasons, he has increased his points total, but also sat each on the penalty bench over 200 minutes. NHL Entry Draft 1988, he was selected in the first round at position five of the Quebec Nordiques. In the training camp of the Nordiques he did not convince and became the 1989/90 season in the QMJHL sent to the Chicoutimi Sagueneens. In the same season he was recalled to the Nordiques and made ​​his debut in the National Hockey League.

The season 1990/91 he spent almost entirely at the Halifax Citadel in the American Hockey League and only came to a further use for the Quebec Nordiques. The following season he only played in the Minor League for the Halifax Citadel in the AHL, but also came to the Greensboro Monarchs in the East Coast Hockey League in six games for use and scored one goal. On December 14, 1992, he signed a contract as a free agent with the Philadelphia Flyers. The jump in the NHL squad Flyers, however, did not succeed, instead Doré played in the 1992/93 season for the Hershey Bears. Then he came to four inserts for the Chatham Wheels in the Colonial Hockey League, before he ended his career.

As a professional inline hockey player Doré went from 1994 to 1996 in the Roller Hockey International for the Montreal Roadrunners and Empire State Cobras on the ice. In the Montreal Roadrunners he was in the 1995/96 season also worked as a coach.
