Danilo Napolitano
Danilo Napolitano ( born January 31, 1981 in Vittoria ) is an Italian racing cyclist.
Napolitano was the 2004 team L.P.R. Professional. 2005 was his most successful year. In addition to some victories in day-races he won stages in the Settimana Internazionale, Brixia Tour and the Tour du Poitou- Charentes. He then got a contract with the ProTour team Lampre- Fondital, where he managed eight wins this season, the final breakthrough. In 2007, he was then for the first time a stage in a large tour of the country to decide for itself the ninth stage of the Giro d' Italia, he won in a bunch sprint ahead of Robbie McEwen and Alessandro Petacchi. In 2014 he won the Belgian one-day races Omloop van het Waasland the first Italian.
