Danko Marinelli

Danko Marinelli (* May 30, 1987 in Rijeka) is a Croatian alpine skier.

Career

His first FIS races contested Marinelli in November 2002. Between 2004 and 2007 he took part in the Junior World Championships, its best result he reached the 31st place in the giant slalom in 2005. This year he also launched at the World Championships in Bormio in the slalom and giant Slalom, but reached the target in any of the races. At the Olympic Winter Games in Turin in 2006, he went in the slalom at the start, but fell in the first round of. At the 2007 World Championships, he finished 41st place in the giant slalom, slalom, he could not finish again.

On 6 January 2009, the Croat had his first and only start in the World Cup. In slalom in Zagreb, he was after the first run on 38th and did not qualify for the second round. At the 2009 World Championships in Val d'Isere he came in the giant slalom at rank 53 in the slalom, he fell in the first round out.
