FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2005

The 38th Alpine Ski World was held until 13 February 2005 and 28 January. The races of men were held in Bormio, that of women in neighboring Santa Caterina. The Italian winter sports resorts had been awarded the contract on 1 June 2000 at the FIS Congress in Melbourne.

These Ski Championships a new discipline was added to the program, which it first came to eleven decisions medal with the team competition.
