FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 1941

The Alpine Ski World Championship 1941 was held jointly with the Nordic World Ski Championships from February 1 to 9 in the Italian ski resort of Cortina d' Ampezzo. Cortina was in 1932 the scene of a World Cup.

After the Second World War, the International Ski Federation (FIS ) said this World Cup at a congress in 1946, subsequently invalidated, since many nations due to the political circumstances could not attend. All medals lost by decision of the FIS their official status and are no longer counted. Participating countries besides Italy and the German Reich were only Bulgaria, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Yugoslavia, Romania, Switzerland and Hungary.
