FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 1993

The Alpine Ski World 32 took place from 4 to 14 February 1993 in winter sports resort Shizukuishi near the Japanese city of Morioka in the more the character of hills -holding Mount Takakura and Mount Kotakakura instead. The slopes were subsequently provided by the Swiss slopes architect Bernhard Russi with difficulties. The men's downhill, the key point of the width of 60 meters represented enabling Kongoo jump, featured twelve curves and five jumps. In the women's line had nine curves at four jumps. Due to the bad weather conditions individual races are postponed several times had. The men's Super -G could not be discharged and has been deleted.
