Kerrin Lee-Gartner
Kerrin Lee - Gartner, OBC ( born September 21, 1966 in Trail, British Columbia) is a former Canadian alpine skier.
The highlight of her sporting career reached Kerrin Lee - Gartner at the Olympic Winter Games in Albertville in 1992, where she won the gold medal in the downhill. In a very close race she won by six hundredths of a second ahead of Hilary Lindh (USA ) and nine hundredths of a second before Veronika Wallinger (AUT ), while the two top favorites, Katja Seizinger (GER ) and Petra Kronberger (AUT ), close behind came empty-handed.
As a specialist in the speed disciplines Lee - Gartner in the Alpine Skiing World Cup could reach a total of six podium finishes in downhill and super -G. In 1994, she ended her career.
