FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 1970

The Alpine Ski World 21 took place from 7 to 15 February 1970 in Val Gardena in Italy. It was the only World Cup, the results of which were included in the Alpine Skiing World Cup. Successful nation was France, who won three of the eight gold medals and five silver medals and one bronze medal.

On February 7, a qualifying run was held in which 120 runners had to qualify for the 51 starting positions of the actual race in six groups. In the end, binned 24 runners.
