Ingrid Lafforgue

Ingrid Lafforgue ( born November 5, 1948 in Luchon ) is a French former alpine skier. Britt Lafforgue is her twin sister, Maurice Lafforgue her father; her mother is the Swedish alpine skier May Nilsson, who won at the World Ski Championships in Zakopane 1939 slalom bronze.

Lafforgues greatest achievement was the victory in the slalom at the 1970 World Cup in Val Gardena, before Barbara Ann Cochran and Michèle Jacot. In the Ski World Cup, she won a giant slalom and slalom races six ( the World Cup slalom in Val Gardena also scored for the World Cup ). In the season 1969/70 they won the first place in the World Cup slalom standings. In 1969 she became French champion in giant slalom and the slalom in 1970.
