Willi Frommelt

Willi Frommelt ( born November 18, 1952 in Schaan ) is a former skier Liechtenstein.

Biography

Education and work

In addition to his athletic career Frommelt completed a basic business training and was 29 years his degree in business administration. He was now working as HR and Finance Officer, was retirement and financial planners in the Liechtenstein National Bank as well as several years as Managing Director of the Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI ).

Political career

In May 2010, Frommelt was sent into the race for the election of the head of Schaan of the Progressive Citizens' Party ( FBP) as a challenger. He tried doing the acting superintendent Daniel Hilti (VU) replace, but could not prevail against it. Prior to his Kandatur he had been four years in the municipal council.

Family

Frommelt is married and has two daughters. His younger brother Paul Frommelt was also active as a ski racer. His brother Peter Frommelt participated among others at the table tennis world championship in 1989 in Dortmund and the World Table Tennis Championships in Bremen in 2006 for Liechtenstein.

Honors

1976 Willi Frommelt was elected in Liechtenstein Sportsman of the Year. 2004 Golden bay leaf from the Princely Government, he was awarded for his sporting achievements.
