Danzhou

Danzhou (儋 州, pinyin: Danzhou ) is a county-level city in the northwest of the Chinese island province of Hainan. At county level, she will report directly to the provincial government of Hainan Province. In 1999, she counted 829 567 inhabitants.

The ancient city of Danzhou ( Danzhou Gucheng ) and named after Su Dongpo (Su Shi ) Dongpo Academy ( Dongpo Shuyuan ) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China.
