The young lady is a published in 2006 feature film by Swiss director Andrea Staka. The film about three originating from the former Yugoslavia, women who live in Switzerland, won the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival in the same year.

The film is a production of the Zurich company Dschoint Ventschr under Susan Rüdlinger and Samir, in collaboration with fifth film from Germany, Swiss Television and ZDF. The main roles Mirjana Karanović, Marija and Ljubica Jovic Skaricic play.

Action

The fifty-year Ruza from Serbia runs a canteen in Zurich, the sixty -year-old Mila from Croatia is its employees. One day takes the young homeless Ana, who lived during the war in Bosnia, to a place in the canteen. The life- hungry woman deeply affected the lives of the two elders.
