Geography

Geographical Location

Dauchingen is on the flat - wave, flattening east Baar plateau that slopes steeply into the upper Neckar Valley in the east. The distance to the city of Villingen -Schwenningen is 4 km, 5 km to Niedereschach and Trossingen 6 km.

Land use

The local situation is surrounded by intensively farmed areas. Protect values ​​biotopes have not survived. One exception is at the eastern and partly situated on the southern outskirts fruit tree areas and wegbegleitenden Birds woody plants.
