David de Gea Quintana [ daβið dE xe.a Kintana ] ( born November 7, 1990 in Madrid ) is a Spanish football goalkeeper who is currently at English club Manchester United.
Career
Association
The goalkeeper de Gea started his professional career in 2009 at Atletico Madrid, for the Champions League match against FC Porto, he debuted on September 30, 2009, after the then Atlético's Sergio Asenjo goalkeeper and goalkeeper Roberto had failed. After good performances succeeded de Gea, to earn a regular place in Atlético's Eleven. He had committed in the summer of 2009 for several million from Real Valladolid Sergio Asenjo displaced. This brought him in February 2010 a new contract until 2013. After two years in Madrid, De Gea left Atlético and joined in summer 2011 to 2016 to the English giants Manchester United. At United de Gea is the successor of the Dutchman Edwin van der Sar, who had ended his career. After initial difficulties and adjustment problems, De Gea was able to stabilize and is now the undisputed number 1

David de Gea has undergone since the U-17, with whom he Juan Santisteban in Belgium U- 17 European Championship in 2007, the Spanish national youth teams. Currently he is in the U -21 Spain used. With this he took part in the 2011 European Championship in Denmark. As a regular keeper, he played all the games his team and won with it the EM tournament.
