David Moncoutié

David Moncoutié [ david mõkutje ] ( born April 30, 1975 in Provins, Seine- et- Marne ) is a former French cyclist.

In the 2004 Tour de France David Moncoutié succeeded on the 11th stage from Saint -Flour to Figeac his first stage win in this Tour. He finished the tour on the 34th place overall. A year later, at the 2005 Tour de France, he won the French national the 12th stage to Digne -les- Bains.

As a specialist in the mountains Moncoutié twice won the mountain stage of Paris -Nice, and four times the mountain stage of the Vuelta a España 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 and four Vuelta mountain stages.

From Moncoutié no positive doping test was known throughout his career, he was suspected not otherwise banned doping methods and applies according to the testimony of numerous witnesses as "clean" driver.

Moncoutié drove from the beginning of his professional career in 1997 for the French team Cofidis Équipe. End of the 2012 season, he finished his career as a professional cyclist.
