David Rodigan

David Michael Rodigan MBE (born 24 July 1951 in Hannover) is a London reggae and dancehall (Radio ) DJ.

Biography

Rodigan was born in 1951 in Hannover as the son of a Scottish, soldiers stationed in Germany. After his father had done in various countries military service, his parents moved to England in 1959. Even as a teenager, he started in youth centers and clubs hang plates. His first contact with Jamaican music was inspired by his own words My Boy Lollipop by Millie Small from the year 1964.
