David Stuart (Virginia politician)

Political career

Stuart was a member of the House of Representatives from Virginia and agreed from 1788 on the ratification of the Constitution of the United States. He voted for ratification.

He was one of the electors of the Prince William District in northeastern Virginia in the presidential elections in 1789. The district consists of the counties of Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun and Prince William and is located west of the capital Washington.
