Dawid Janczyk

Dawid Janczyk ( born September 23, 1987 in Nowy Sacz, Poland ) is a Polish footballer.

Club career

Janczyk scored in his first season (2005/ 06) in the Ekstraklasa five goals in 18 games and was at first Polish champion with Legia Warszawa. He also shot at the U- 19 Football Championship 2006 in Poland in a group match against Belgium three goals. He is regarded in Poland as a great striker talent and is referred to therein because of his physique as " Polish Rooney ". In the U-20 World Cup Canada 2007, he was with three goals in four games, the most successful Polish players.

For the season 2007/ 08 joined Legia Warszawa Janczyk to CSKA Moscow, where he signed a five-year contract. With CSKA Janczyk was then merely substitute. For the second half of 2008/ 09 season, he was loaned to the Belgian club KSC Lokeren to play matches. From January 2010 to February 2011, he played for the Belgian first division club Germinal Beerschot Antwerp. In early 2011 he was loaned to the Polish first division club Korona Kielce. However, in seven league games, he scored a single goal. End of August 2011 he was loaned for nine months in the Ukrainian first division PFK Olexandrija.

National

Although Dawid Janczyk was previously nominated several times for the Polish national team, he made his debut only 14 December 2008 in a friendly against Serbia (1-0 ).
