Delia Boccardo
Delia Boccardo ( born January 29, 1948 in Genoa) is an Italian actress.
Life
Boccardo spent much of her childhood and early youth with her parents in Nervi. After attending a boarding school in Switzerland she became a student of the Istituto Poggio Imperiale in Florence and eventually went to college to Sussex, England, where she remained for about three years. In 1965 she moved to Rome to visit the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, which, however, did not graduate with a diploma. 1967 debuted the very pretty Actress for it on stage in Arthur Miller's View from the bridge next to Raf Vallone. Film offers and thus the film debut ( in the bizarre spaghetti western three guns against Cesare ) followed. Until the mid- 1970s she turned next to genre films with directors such as Maurizio Ponzi author, Nino Manfredi and Pupi Avati, but could explore its mimic abilities rarely since it was often reduced to their physical characteristics and used as a decorative accessory of films. Then she slowed her film output, but remained until the mid- 1990s, a regular guest on cinema screens.
For television, Boccardo turned Kriminafilme by Francis Durbridge ( Come un uragano, Director Silverio Blasi 1971), literary adaptations ( Martin Eden Giacomo Battiato under, 1979) and mafia films ( Il cugino americano, also from Battiato, 1986). One of the most well known roles in later years, where they often appeared in television mini-series, the Mother of the figure " Michela Rocco " was in I ragazzi del muretto 2 1993. From 1998 to 2008 she starred in the soap opera Incantesimo her role of " Tilly Nardi ". Since the mid- 1980s reinforced Boccardo their commitment stage, where she worked extensively with Luca Ronconi.
In 1989 she was nominated for a Silver Ribbon for her performance in Cavalli si nasce.
Boccardo is the sister of actress Gabriella Grimaldi. In 2002, she made a suicide attempt.
