Demiricous

Demiricous is an American Death and Thrash metal band from Indianapolis, Indiana, which was founded in 2001.

History

The band was formed on Halloween in 2001 by bassist and vocalist Nate Olp, guitarist Scott Wilson and drummer Chris Cruz. Half a year later, Ben Parrish ( ex- Upheaval ) as second guitarist for the band. Together they developed the first songs and published in the following years two demos. Thus, the band reached a deal with Metal Blade Records and released their debut album in 2006 One ( Hellbound ). This was followed by several live performances with bands like Exodus, King Diamond and Malevolent Creation. Drummer Chris Cruz rose briefly from it and was replaced for a tour with Himsa and Ringworm by Mike Rafferty (Brand New Sin). This was followed by further performances with Nodes of Ranvier, If Hope Dies, and Still Remains. The end of October of the same year joined the band along with Vital Remains, Grave and Dismember on in North America. Then began the work to another album, which now Dustin Boltjes played the drums. The album was released in October 2007 by Erik Rutan ( Morbid Angel, Hate Eternal ) mixed.

Style

The band plays an aggressive blend of thrash and death metal, the music of which are sometimes similar to that of Slayer.
