Denis Rodier

Denis Rodier ( born 1963 ) is an American comic book artist and painter.

Life and work

Rodier, which is mostly concerned with the pencil drawings of other artists focused than so-called Inker to work with ink, began in 1986 years as a professional cartoonist to work. Since then, he has worked mainly for large American publishers like DC Comics, Marvel Comics and Milestone Media.

Among the series in which Rodier has ( then primarily as a draftsman title frames ) worked mainly as a technical pen, in rare cases as a penciler, include Action Comics, Adventures of Superman, Challengers of the Unknown, The Demon, Hawkman, LEGION, New Gods and Wonder Woman. Among the signatories whose work Rodier has revised as Pens include Kieron Dwyer, Steve Epting, Jackson Guice, Tom Grummett, Bob McLeod and Val Semeiks. A particularly frequent artistic partner Rodiers here was the colorist Glenn Whitmore.

As a painter Rodier has contributed illustrations for publications such as Time Magazine News and Artsakh Made in USA and painted covers for comics such as The Demon.

In addition, Rodier, who lives in Quebec, as a designer for private clients such as Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel Band), Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson) and Suzanne Vega works.
