Dennis Utter

Dennis Utter ( born February 21, 1939 in Wheatland, Wyoming, † December 27, 2011 in Hastings, Nebraska ) was an American politician ( Republican).

Life

Utter grew up on a farm near Wheatland. He studied agriculture at the University of Wyoming, where he received a Masters degree in Agricultural Economics. He then worked as a bank clerk in McCook. While he lived in McCook, he was a member of the City Council and held the office of mayor. 1978 moved he and his family moved to Kenesaw, where he became president and later chairman of the Adams County Bank was ordered. In 2001 he retired and moved to Hastings.

In 2008, Utter was elected to the Nebraska Legislature and was one of these from 2009 until his death on. He was a member of the Banking, Commerce and Insurance Committee and was vice chairman of the Revenue Committee.

Utter was married and had three children, two sons and a daughter. He died on 27 December 2011 at the age of 72 from a lung disease.
