The Opera Ball is a Viennese operetta in three acts by Richard Heuberger after the comedy The Pink Dominos by Alfred Hennequin and Alfred Delacour -Charlemagne from the year 1876. The libretto was written by Victor Léon and Henry of forest mountain. Premiere was on January 5, 1898 at the Theater an der Wien.

Action

Act 1

In Paris during the carnival Paul Aubier bored with his wife Angèle visiting Georges and Marguérite Duménil. The skeptical when it comes to marriage fidelity Marguérite persuaded the credulous Angèle, to represent the two husbands but once on the sample. In its order, the maid Hortense wrote two identical letters that Paul and George invite you to a tryst with a noble lady at the evening Opera Ball. Their mark is a pink domino. Act 2

Act 3
