Destiny Fulfilled is the fourth and final studio album by American R & B girl group Destiny 's Child. It was released in November 2004 with her record label Columbia Records / Sony Urban.

History

After a pause, in which group members released solo albums - already during the recording of Survivor Beyoncé Knowles announced this break - returned Destiny 's Child are back with their next studio album, Destiny Fulfilled. On this album, the members each contributed equally to the production and songwriting. To promote the album, the group went on tour Destiny Fulfilled ... And Lovin ' It, during which they announced their resolution.

Previously there had been, among other things after the success of Beyoncé's solo album Dangerously in Love rumors about the dissolution of the group. During the production of Destiny Fulfilled, it became increasingly clear that the paths would separate after the album. However, the announcement by the group members, the group would also musically " something to offer " yet.

Success and Awards

The album debuted at number 19 on the Billboard 200 album chart and peaked at number two. In Germany it reached number three on the charts in the UK in fifth place. Destiny Fulfilled was awarded by the RIAA triple platinum. While Destiny's Child could not win a Grammy for the album, but a number of other awards, including three World Music Awards, three Billboard Music Awards and two American Music Awards.
