Diego Hypólito

Diego Matias Hypólito ( born June 19, 1986 in Santo André ) is a Brazilian gymnast. His best individual units are floor and vault. On 26 November 2005 Hypólito was the first Brazilian world champion in artistic gymnastics in Melbourne. After that, he won the silver medal at the 2006 World Championships in Aarhus (Denmark ) at the bottom. At the 2007 World Championships in Stuttgart, he won the gold medal on floor. Four years later in Tokyo he won bronze with the same instrument. His older sister Daniele is also a successful gymnast.
