World and Technology

The concept of a digital world ( " Digital World " ), exist independently in the Digimon as artificial life forms was taken over by the predecessors Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02, where the Digital World itself plays a much smaller role. Also the human- Digimon Partner Principle and the different levels and types of Digimon, as well as their ability to digivolve are again available.

Unlike the first two series, the combat abilities of Digimon but are influenced not only by their Digitationslevel, but also through the use of trading cards that match the cards actually available in many countries of the Digital Monster Card Game. These allow the Digimon then the use of specific techniques or Digivolution. The cards are read with the so-called "D -Power" (Japanese for "D- Arc "), which owns the human partner.

The main characters and their Digimon Tamers Digimon not see as in the previous series by an unknown power together, but decide voluntarily to cooperate. Therefore, they do not carry the designation Digi- knight, but its name to the series Digimon Tamer. The Digivolution is considerably more difficult and more of the feelings of Tamer dependent compared to its predecessors. Even the simple Digivolution is only possible under certain conditions, eg if the Tamer is in danger. Furthermore, the presence of Digimons Calumon is required in the first two thirds of the series, which releases the light from the digitation.

The following new Digivolution, some of which are also mentioned in the German version of "evolution" will be introduced in the series and supersedes all:

Digivolution (エボリューションEboryūshon, "Evolution" )

Matrix Digivolution (マトリックス エボリューションMatorikkusu Eboryūshon, " Matrix Evolution" )

Tamer Matrix Digivolution
